The Pack: Assemblages of Silence
My work emerges in the space where sober construction and unfiltered emotions collide. I do not build sculptures, I assemble witnesses like characters in a psychological novel. In my studio, I filter the noise of the outside world until only a pure, essence remains. The result is a pack of creatures balancing between fossil and machine, between oppression and autonomy.
The Matter
I work with the laws of matter. Used materials — weathered moped helmets, weathered wood, industrial felt, and twisted steel — are stripped of their original function. By cutting, burning, I force them into a new, unshakable hierarchy.
The result is a sleek composition that gives full scope to the drama of the deformed and weathered material.
The Gaze
My world is one of dirty aesthetics: a clinical, almost surgical approach to decay and survival. It is a universe that breathes in the shadow of Rembrandt and the cold perfection of a vacuum. The figures are silent and yet they carry an inner tension that forces the viewer into a direct confrontation.
Thank you for viewing the work!
